WASHINGTON D.C., 8 October 2009

As part of their US – Canada tour and the celebration of their 60th Anniversary the Croatian National Folklore Ensemble LADO presented their Monograph „Croatian National Treasure“. The presentation was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Washington, DC. After Ambassador Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic’s introduction, the director of the Ensemble Ms. Ivana Lusic presented the monograph, as well as the work and members of LADO. On that occasion the Ensemble preformed three songs. The representatives of the Croatian community, the diplomatic corps and other distinguished guests attended the presentation and particularly enjoyed the three songs preformed by Ensamble.

The Ensemble LADO begun their tour with two well attended concerts that they held at Starthmore hall in Bethesda, Maryland.
